How to Drag and Drop photos from FilterPixel?

Watch the quick video above, or follow the steps below. The fastest way to get photos out of FilterPixel is to simply drag them — into Lightroom, a folder, or any app that accepts image files.
Step 1 — Filter to the photos you want
In the culling grid, use Quick Filters on the right to narrow down to the photos you want to hand off — for example your Review picks or Best picks. The drag will include what's currently shown in the view.
Step 2 — Select all with Ctrl + A
Press Ctrl + A to select every photo in the current view. You can also hand-pick photos by clicking them if you only want a few.
Step 3 — Drag, and wait for the blue icon
Here's the important part:

1. Click and hold any selected photo, and start dragging.
2. Hold still for a few seconds — until a small blue drag icon appears next to your cursor. That icon means the files are ready to travel.
3. Only then drag onward. If you release before the icon appears, the drop won't carry the files.

Step 4 — Drop them anywhere
With the blue icon showing, drop the photos wherever you want them:

• Lightroom — drag onto the Lightroom icon in the taskbar, wait for the app to come forward, and release over the Library. Lightroom opens its Import dialog with your photos pre-checked — just click Import.
• A folder — drop into any File Explorer window or onto the desktop.
• Other apps — any app that accepts image drops (Photoshop, browsers, messengers, and so on) works the same way.

That's it — your picks travel straight from FilterPixel to wherever you work.
Good to know

• The blue icon usually takes 2–5 seconds to appear, depending on how many photos you're dragging — the wait is FilterPixel preparing the actual files.
• Dragging doesn't remove anything from FilterPixel; it hands off copies.
