In the fast-paced world of photo culling and editing, every second counts. That’s where keyboard shortcuts in FilterPixel come in — giving you faster access to the tools you use most. With customizable hotkeys across different categories, you can tailor the app to match your unique workflow.

⭐ Ratings

The Star Ratings shortcuts let you quickly apply or remove star ratings from your photos. This is key for sorting your best shots during the culling process.

1 → Set 1-star rating

2 → Set 2-star rating

3 → Set 3-star rating

4 → Set 4-star rating

5 → Set 5-star rating

These shortcuts make it easy to keep your hands on the keyboard and stay focused. You can customize each one or reset them using the Restore Default button at the bottom.

🎨 Colors

Color labels are a powerful way to organize your images visually. In FilterPixel, assigning color labels is just as quick as rating — no clicks required.

6 → Assign red label

7 → Assign yellow label

8 → Assign green label

9 → Assign blue label

Ctrl + 9 (or Cmd + 9 on Mac) → Assign purple label

These labels are perfect for categorizing images by type, client, mood, or status in your editing pipeline. And just like other shortcuts in FilterPixel, they’re fully customizable to fit your style.
