If you are not getting previews, make sure you have not opened the same photos into any other app such as Lightroom.

Reason : Previews aren't loading means that the FilterPixel app is not getting permission to access your files.

Here's the Solution:

Quit all applications that have the same photos open in them.
Close FilterPixel app
Reopen FilterPixel app

FilterPixel culls the same source folder your Lightroom catalog points to, writes the results as XMP metadata, and Lightroom picks them up in place. Your catalog, previews, and folder structure stay exactly as they are. Step 1 — Cull the same folder in FilterPixel

Open FilterPixel and click Select Files (or drag & drop) — then choose the same folder your Lightroom photos live in.
Name the session and pick the shoot type (for example, Wedding).
Click Start Basic Cull and let the AI work through the set — it sorts every photo into Best, Review, and Rejected, hands-free. Step 2 — Review the results When the cull finishes, glance over the categories with Quick Filters, Focus Mode, and Survey Mode. Adjust any picks you disagree with — you stay in control of the final selection. Step 3 — Export as .XMP
Click Export at the bottom of the grid.

Creating your first project in FilterPixel is simple and fast. Whether you're working with RAW or JPEG files, the platform is designed to get you set up in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Add Your Images

To begin, either:

Click the Create Your New Project button, or
Drag and drop a folder containing your images directly into the workspace.

Step 2: Name Your Project

After adding your images, you’ll be prompted to:

Enter a project name
Choose the type of shoot that best fits your project

Then, simply click Next to move forward.

Step 3 (Optional): Set a Magic Number or Fine-Tune with Advanced Options

Set a Magic Number If you have a target number of images you want to keep, enter that number here. FilterPixel will prioritize selecting that many top images for you.
