Well the best way is that you take your culled files to Lightroom but If you have already imported all your photos to Lightroom, here is your workflow:

Workflow

Open FilterPixel App & Create a project inside it by importing the folder that you want to cull
Let the culling process be completed.

Updating Lightroom Metadata

Click on Export & export to XMP

This will write XMP with the metadata inside the same directory. Lightroom and other editors can read XMP and hence every color/rating can be taken to Lightroom.

Go to Lightroom and Read Metadata

Now your Lightroom will be updated by colors/ratings that you have marked in FilterPixel

Why is taking so long to show previews?

If you are not getting previews, make sure you have not opened the same photos into any other app such as Lightroom.

Reason : Previews aren't loading means that the FilterPixel app is not getting permission to access your files.

Here's the Solution:

Quit all applications that have the same photos open in them.
Close FilterPixel app
Reopen FilterPixel app

Is your culling taking too long to complete?

Ideally, it should take : ${color}[#0557fa](3 minutes) to cull ${color}[#0557fa](500 images) ${color}[#0062ff](5 minutes) to cull ${color}[#0062ff](1000 images ) ${color}[#001dff](60 minutes) to cull ${color}[#001dff](10,000 images)

Creating your first project in FilterPixel is simple and fast. Whether you're working with RAW or JPEG files, the platform is designed to get you set up in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Add Your Images

To begin, either:

Click the Create Your New Project button, or
Drag and drop a folder containing your images directly into the workspace.

Step 2: Name Your Project

After adding your images, you’ll be prompted to:

Enter a project name
Choose the type of shoot that best fits your project

Then, simply click Next to move forward.

Step 3 (Optional): Set a Magic Number or Fine-Tune with Advanced Options
