How To Create Your First Project
Create Your First Project
To begin your first project with FilterPixel, you can either click on the Create Your New Project button or use the drag-and-drop feature for a folder containing your RAW or JPEG images as shown below. This process is designed for ease and efficiency, allowing you to get started quickly.
Drop the photo folder to initiate the project creation process in FilterPixel.
Enter a project name when prompted.
Select the type of shoot that best describes your project:
a. 'Portraits' for headshots
b. 'Weddings/Events' for gatherings or AI-assisted moment selection
c. 'Others' for general purposes
Optionally, choose a more specific genre based on your shoot, such as 'Family Portraits' or 'Sports.'
After setting the project name and genre, click the Start Now button to proceed with the project.
After the import, the culling process automatically starts without clicking any button. After Culling is done, the photos get automatically classified into three views.
The view Selected helps you see all the photos that are your best photos. The AI always picks one from a similar set so it is never missing a crucial moment.
The view Rejected helps you see all the photos with bad eye quality or focus quality issues.
The view Duplicates helps you see all the duplicates. These photos are your last choice and you should avoid looking them.
Now, you should go to the Selected Photos and start your Review process. To review, you can use these keyboard shortcuts.
Keyboard Shortcuts:
By Pressing P on the keyboard, you can select any photo
By Pressing U on the keyboard, you can mark any photo as duplicate any photo
By Pressing X on the keyboard, you can reject any photo
By Pressing S on the keyboard, you can open Survey Mode & compare duplicates.
