# Why does it take so long to show previews?

**Why is taking so long to show previews?**

If you are not getting previews, make sure you have not opened the same photos into any other app such as Lightroom. 

__Reason__ : Previews aren't loading means that the FilterPixel app is not getting permission to access your files. 

__Here's the Solution:__
1. Quit all applications that have the same photos open in them.
2. Close FilterPixel app
3. Reopen FilterPixel app
