# How to Set Your Keeper Count in DeepCull

When you run a **DeepCull**, you can tell FilterPixel exactly how many photos you want to keep. In the **Keepers** field, answer "How many photos you want to keep as Keepers?" with a number, and the AI does the hard work of selecting that many best shots from your shoot.

**Note: This option is available in DeepCull only.** Basic AI Cull does not let you set a keeper count. If you want an exact number of selects, run the shoot through DeepCull.

### How It Works:

1. **Start a DeepCull**: Select DeepCull for your shoot and choose a culling profile (for example, Vacation & Travel). The profile's criteria are editable.

2. **Enter your keeper count**: In the Keepers field, type how many photos you want to end up with, for example 128 out of 257. The field shows your total shoot count so you can size the number.

3. **AI Selection**: Hit Start Deep Cull. FilterPixel's AI evaluates every image against your profile and picks the top shots up to the number you set.

4. **Review & Export**: Review the selected images, make any adjustments, and export.
