# How to export photos as JPEG with different Quality settings

${vimeo}[How to export photos as JPEG with different Quality settings](1225064464)

Export as JPG converts your RAW files into JPEGs with all their edits applied — and lets you choose the quality, so you can trade file size against fidelity.
## Step 1 — Open Export
With your project culled — and edited, if you are applying an AI profile — click **Export** at the bottom of the grid.

## Step 2 — Choose Export as JPG
In the Export window, under **Save Images to Local**, choose **Export as JPG**. A **Quality** slider appears beside it.

## Step 3 — Set the quality
Drag the slider to the quality you want:
| **Quality** | **When to use it** |
| ---- | ---- |
| **100** | Maximum detail and the largest files. Best for final delivery and print. |
| **Around 80** | A good balance — visually close to full quality at a fraction of the size. Ideal for client galleries and online proofs. |
| **Lower** | Smallest files, for quick previews or wherever size matters more than fine detail. |

## Step 4 — Pick a destination and export
1.       Click **Export**.
2.       Choose the folder your JPEGs should go to — create a new one if you like.
3.       Click **Select Folder**.
FilterPixel converts the files — you will see **We're Exporting your photos…** — and confirms with **Export complete** when they are ready.
| **Good to know**
•         The Quality slider applies to JPG export only. The other options — copying or moving to a folder, .CSV, .XMP do not need it.
•         Your original RAW files stay untouched. Exporting writes new JPEGs alongside them.
•         Export after editing to bake your AI profile's look into the JPEGs.
•         Delivering to another app instead? Use Quick Export to send photos straight to Lightroom, Photoshop or Capture One.
