# How to create my first project inside Filterpixel?

# Create Your First Project in FilterPixel

Creating your first project in FilterPixel is simple and fast. Whether you're working with RAW or JPEG files, the platform is designed to get you set up in just a few clicks.

### Step 1: Add Your Images
To begin, either:

* Click the **Create Your New Project** button, **or**

### Step 2: Name Your Project
After adding your images, you’ll be prompted to:

* **Enter a project name**
    
* **Choose the type of shoot** that best fits your project

### Step 3 : Use Deep Cull or Basic cull
**Set a Number for keeper**

**Use the basic cull**
Customize your culling process by adjusting how the system handles:

* **Duplicate detection**
    
* **Blink detection**

### Step 4: Start Culling
Click **Save & Start Culling** to begin. FilterPixel will automatically analyze your images based on the settings you’ve selected.

Once the culling process is complete, your photos will be automatically organized into three different views based on your preference that you have added during your onboarding process. 

### ⭐ Start Rating

Photos can be rated using a star system based on their quality and relevance.

### 🎨 Color Rating

Images can be labeled with color codes for easy visual filtering and categorization.

### 🏷️ Tag-Based Grouping

Images can be grouped by tags like **Best**, **Review**, and **Rejected** to help you quickly sort and finalize your selection.

You have complete control to change these selections by right clicking or by using Keyboard Shortcuts ( Use Ctrl/Cmd + K  to see all shortcuts )
